Upon this warm, fair, summer night,

We group together for repast,

By gentle glow of lantern light,

A ship's lamp off a schooner's mast.

Quite fitting for this gentle scene,

This calm diversion from the norm,

Brief moments placid and serene,

Which form a port between the storms.
